Cetone V has many facets to its character and thus has many uses. It blends very well with ionones, citrus notes, lavender, fruity, woody and oriental accords where it adds body and excellent diffusion.
These share the same CAS number (79-78-7) — the same core molecule sold under different trade names. They're close to interchangeable, but purity and isomer ratio can cause subtle differences in strength and character, so treat them as near-identical rather than exactly the same.
