Irisone™ Alpha is used widely in perfume compositions mainly in woody, floral, balsamic, piney or citrus notes for its high substantivity. It is also know to bring an interesting twist to rose accords.
These share the same CAS number (127-41-3) — the same core molecule sold under different trade names. They're close to interchangeable, but purity and isomer ratio can cause subtle differences in strength and character, so treat them as near-identical rather than exactly the same.
