Poivre Fort is a classic spice base which, characteristically of products of this type, includes sympathetic woody and floral notes. The base has a wonderfully warming black pepper top note on a creamy and soft heart of Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang and its related salicylates giving it a solar quality. This base works as a wonderful blender while imparting an elegant spice note. Poivre Fort is an ideal base to add freshness and lightness to heavy compositions. It can be used in high doses without dominating at up to 2.19% for IFRA 51 compliance.
